“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
We are God’s masterpiece. A divine expression of our Almighty God.
Many situations throughout our life will try to name us, shake us, and keep us down. We’ve all experienced moments that have left us feeling rejected, incapable, unworthy and fearful— leading us to question what we’re doing and doubt who we are.
We, who have been born again by the grace of God are children of Abraham and recipients of the promises of God that were fulfilled in Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are of Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Gal 3:28-29)
In spite of our behavior, idolatry and unbelief, God will remain true to His promises for they are rooted in His faithful nature and character. The enemy knows how strong we are. He knows we are the beloved, he just wants us to think we’re worthless so we spend our time in self pity and doubt. He wants us to hold ourselves back and stay silent so our prayer lives become inactive and our speech becomes idle.
Grab hold of the simple gospel today —
You are loved, deeply.
You are forgiven, completely.
You are free.
Free to live by faith and walk boldly towards what God has for you. Free to embrace the life of knowing Jesus better. He longs to see His children walk freely in His good, good plans— the plans He prepared for us long ago. (Col 1:10) The key to believing is to continually keep our minds on the character of God— our true source of confidence.

your true identity
The Bible is a wonderful gift from God filled with His promises, revelations of humanity and faith building testimonies. The media wants to tell us what to do, horoscopes want to tell us who we are, but we can choose to set aside the chaos of the world and fill our minds with the knowledge and power of the Holy Spirit. Choose one or two of the following truths that you struggle to believe about how God sees you. Write them down, set reminders on your phone, and read them every day at bedtime, making them part of your prayers.
I am a child of God. ( John 1:12)
I have been accepted by Christ. (Romans 15:7)
I am no longer a slave, but a child and an heir. (Galatians 4:7)
I have been set free in Christ. (Galatians 5:1)
I am God’s workmanship created to produce good works. (Ephesians 2:10)
