Session Overview

Leading people, not discussions. In this session, we’ll explore how to create learning environments where people feel seen, challenged, and invited to engage deeply with Scripture. We’ll consider how to ask meaningful questions, navigate different personalities and perspectives, and lead a group with both clarity and care.

Helping people encounter the text for themselves. Using Habakkuk as our shared text, we’ll practice moving from observation and interpretation to application, learning how to guide others through a biblical passage while staying anchored in what the text actually says.

Writing for formation, not information. In this session, we’ll explore how to write with clarity, warmth, and theological faithfulness while creating space for reflection and transformation. Participants will practice turning biblical insight into devotional writing that forms the reader rather than simply informs them.

Teaching Scripture to children and youth requires us to communicate clearly without making the Bible smaller than it is. In this session, we’ll explore how to identify the heart of a biblical passage, communicate it in age-appropriate ways, and create teaching moments that engage both the minds and hearts of younger learners.

In our final session, we’ll reflect on the rhythms, practices, and boundaries that help teachers remain rooted in God while continuing to serve others. We’ll consider what it looks like to cultivate a sustainable life of teaching marked by faithfulness, humility, and hope.
