stand

“Through Jesus we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.”

Romans 5:2 NIV

Despite hard times, Jesus is greater.

He is both the greatest apostle and highest priest, no one holds a higher position than he.

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came and died for us. Our peace with God was restored, and we can rest in the incredible security He gives us. The road ahead won’t always be easy, but Paul affirms our sufferings now are nothing compared to the glory that is to be revealed in Christ. Praise God! (Ro 5:3) We can rejoice, knowing our trials are producing in us endurance and character so that we might share in the glory of God. Can you believe that?! We can look forward confidently and joyfully to sharing God’s glory.

God has so much in store for those who put their faith in Jesus. (1 Cor 2:9)

What are you standing on today? Does it feel like sinking sand or are you standing on solid grace?
If we rely on our strength, we will fall short. If we rely on God, He will carry us through and empower us to overcome in this world.
God’s grace is far more powerful than any mistake or unexpected event. Surrender the what-ifs, lift up your empty cup and trust in His unchanging presence.

In this ever-changing world, He remains the same. Through all the uncertainty, He is our certainty (He 13:8). He is constant. The Alpha and Omega. The One who was, and is, and is to come (Rev 1:8).

May His glory shine in your life as you continue to place your hope in Him.
