prune

“For six years you shall sow your field, and for six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its fruits,”

Leviticus 25:3 ESV

May we lean into each deep breath, and simply make room for the new.

Have you ever been in a season of pruning, friend? One where there seems to be more loss than gain? The days stretch into weeks and your branches remain — bare. Maybe you’re in one right now.

We are given a choice;

Do we become complacent? Feeling bitter that we are not running at the same pace as others.

Or do we lean into the space the Lord has left open? Curious as to what it is next, but grateful for the mundane.

There is so much to be uncovered in your season of pruning.

The garden of our soul is tilled to reveal a soil that is primed for new growth. One in which will produce righteous fruit.

This process can feel sad, painful even — but remember the reward of keeping in step with the Father. He shows us time and time again that He has a plan for every thing.

May you be encouraged to step back and wrap yourself in the undeniable grace of your Father. Watch as His plan unfolds right before your very eyes.

With kindness + love,
Madison Leigh

How can you prepare your soil for what God is getting ready to plant?

centering prayer:

LORD, may you remind me to lean into your grace and embrace the new. amen.
