I’m Makenzi—a speaker and Bible teacher from Seattle, WA, now rooted in Los Angeles. Through prayer, preaching, and listening, I seek to guide others into joyful and radical obedience to Christ in the midst of ordinary life.

In 2020, I founded Abide, a weekly devotional to encourage women to deepen their relationship with Jesus. I received my Masters in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary, and have led Bible studies, retreats, and discipleship spaces in both church and para-church settings. My vision is to call this generation into a life of abiding in Christ—growing in discipleship, living in obedience, and joining God’s mission to share the gospel with the world.

Currently, I’m on the pastoral staff at Vintage Church in Pasadena.
