Friends, as the year comes to a close, I love taking time to reflect and celebrate all that God has done—and 2024 has been a year full of His faithfulness! I’m so grateful for your generosity, prayers, and commitment to Abide. Your support has made so much possible.

Here are just a few highlights from this year:

Bible in a Year: We completed our year-long journey through the Bible, which included 36 online Bible studies, a course on How to Study the Prophets, a weekly reading plan, and countless testimonies of people reading the whole Bible for the first time!

Spring Retreat: We gathered in Greenwood, Maine, for a transformative weekend of prayer, worship, and connection.

Leadership Growth: Jamilah Cayenne joined as a Community Leader, and Sarah Watson became part of the writing team—each bringing fresh vision and dedication to our ministry.

First Giving Campaign: With your support, we launched our very first campaign and saw God’s goodness and provision.

Beyond these milestones, we’ve been overwhelmed by testimonies from our community—stories of spiritual growth, renewed faith, and lives changed by the truth of God’s Word.

In addition, here are a few noteworthy achievements that God graciously enabled us to accomplish this year:

• 19 Written Devotionals crafted to encourage and deepen your walk with Christ.

• 12 Monthly Newsletters filled with words of encouragement, updates, and testimonies from our community.

• Welcomed 16 new members to our community page!

• Launched a WhatsApp group for announcements, prayer requests, event coordination, and fellowship.

• Reached a total online audience of 7,061 followers—spreading biblical truth far and wide.

• Developed a full evangelistic strategy for the coming year!

• Our Santa Barbara group continues to meet regularly led by community leader Glyn Kennedy.
  

Locally, Kristin Bruce hosted monthly sabbath dinners for our members in New York, providing a beautiful space for connection and rest.

We also prioritized community and discipleship through:

• 6 Community Calls and 2 Prayer Calls, creating space for encouragement and spiritual growth.

• 11 Team Meetings  and monthly one to ones to equip our leaders, coordinate monthly plans, and pray for the community.

• 4 Quarterly Board Meetings to share updates, address concerns, and steward the ministry well.
  

  
  
  

  Giving Update:
  
  Abide raised a total of $1,710 this year, with $435 in monthly pledges committed for 2025. While we didn’t meet our monthly goal, I am deeply grateful for those who have chosen to support this ministry on an ongoing basis. Here’s how your generosity will be allocated:
  

  • 50% : Personnel- ministry leadership, content creation, discipleship direction, and administrative support.

  • 20%: Website maintenance, platform fees, server costs, training resources for leaders (e.g., Bibles and study guides), and high-quality content creation (videos, devotionals, courses, etc.).

  • 15%: In-person events, including venues, travel, staffing, and logistics.

  • 10%: Scholarships and subsidized access to courses, events, or retreats.

  • 5%: Savings for unexpected costs.
