transform
“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh..”
Ezekiel 36:26 ESV
You are a picture of His faithfulness through the transformation of your very existence.
During my quiet time with the Lord the other day which lately has consisted of lamenting over the season I’m in, I heard God say to me “While your circumstances may not look different, remember what I have done within you.” I was taken into this flip book of the last 15 years of my life with God highlighting all of the pruning, the dying, the pain, and suffering that has led to the most immense growth of my entire being. He has stripped and redefined every single thing about me. As I meditated on this, I listened to a worship song called “Before and After” feat. Amanda Lindsey Cook and began to weep at these words:
“I’m a picture of Your faithfulness, I’m a miracle in process. God, I never would have guessed that you were working in the darkness.”
How often do we think that God is not working in the midst of our suffering when in reality He is cultivating, crafting, redefining, and transforming the deepest parts of us as we know it? How beautiful it is to know we are His miracle in process.
Whenever the enemy whispers meaningless lies about all of the things you’ve done, should’ve done, or haven’t done — remember you are a picture of His faithfulness through the transformation of your very existence. Every single one of us has a “before and after.” When we encounter a REAL Jesus, we cannot help but begin the process of transformation, we cannot help but be changed. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; the new has come” (2 Cor 5:17).
Take heart and rest in the fact that the process of transformation isn’t overnight. It’s a life-long evolution as you and God partner together. I encourage you today Beloved, to take a silent moment with God and think about all that He has brought you into and out of. Thank Him for freedom in areas of your mind, soul, and spirit that only you and He may know. Meditate on your before and after and thank God that He loves you that much — He finishes His work in you unto completion.
“This is my before and after. There’s a new Light in my eyes, some things that camera can’t capture. From the ashes you make beautiful things, I know cause you did it in me. and I thought it was over, I thought it was done, but You always have the last word and the last word is Love.”
In joy, peace and love,

reflect:
Meditate on your personal “before & after.” Think of areas in your life that God, in His love, has completely transformed. Thank Him in faith that He continues His work unto completion.
centering prayer:
Abba, I thank you for my before and after — and I thank you for the before and after that is still in process. I thank you that continue to transform and redefine every facet of my life. That you bring healing, redemption and freedom. I thank you that I am Your miracle in process and even when I don’t understand what you’re doing or why you’re doing it, I can trust that your last word is Love. I love you. Amen.
