"Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.” Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
John 20:1-18 ESV
Seek the Lord — and study the things arranged on your table.
Have your prayers recently centered around asking the Lord to reveal himself to you? Maybe during a challenging time, or in the midst of a decision, you have sought the Father for His all-knowing guidance.
When Mary Magdalene went to the tomb, she did not recognize Jesus at first. In fact, she mistook him for the gardener outside of the tomb. It wasn’t until He said her very name, Mary, that she recognized who was speaking.
Sometimes we feel so far from knowing how we are supposed to steward what the Lord has given us. May you be encouraged today, that in the desperation of your cries, He has been there all along, calling your name.
Where have you seen God give confirmation in your current season — opened doors, answered prayers, or even people who have walked in unexpectedly? He is speaking, but sometimes we just need to adjust the pitch in which we are listening.
Instead of your routine prayer spot, sit on the bedroom floor & write your prayers down on paper. Wake up one hour earlier each morning to walk outside, seeking the Lord in solitude.
Listen for His voice, for He will reveal himself to you at the appointed time.
With kindness + love,

reflect:
What are some ways you can take what the Lord has spoken or revealed and, with a new perspective, apply it to your current season?
centering prayer:
Father God, I thank you for the mystery of coming to know you and discovering who I am in you. I pray you would continue to reveal yourself to me in a way I can understand, while allowing me to grow into my calling. I thank you, I honor you, and I love you. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
